Community
Computime recognizes its social responsibility by continually striving
to strengthen its ties with the communities in which it operates. It
emphasizes creating opportunities for the disadvantaged, as well as
training and skill development programs for young people.
These programs include internships, co-operative courses for students,
scholarship assistance and co-operation with local universities. One
of its partners, Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power, provides personnel
for the production of the Company’s newsletter.
Computime works closely with H.K.S.K.H.
St. Christopher's Home to help create opportunities for its young people
between the ages of 2 - 18. Simple outings like taking them out for
a 'happy meal' and similar social excursions to broaden their interests
help make a difference.
Through sponsored internship programs, notably
organized with the local universities and H.K.S.K.H. St.
Christopher's Home, immersion in real life work environments allows
young interns to gain practical experience and develop skills to help
them pursue their career goals.
