As part of a larger supply base management function, supplier approval and development is an integrated process at Computime. Beginning with supplier sourcing, where potential suppliers are evaluated to ensure they meet business, technical and operational needs, Computime’s supplier development and management program takes an end-to-end approach to supplier management.
  
A comprehensive supplier qualification program provides basis for supplier listing as an approved vendor to Computime. This program evaluates potential suppliers in key areas such as organizational quality systems, process control and manufacturing. New materials sourced from the company’s existing approved supply base are subjected to a rigid materials qualification process that includes manufacturing and process stability validation.
  
Certification as an AVL (approved vendor list) supplier is the beginning of a supplier relationship with Computime.
