General Manager – Lean & Automation

Major Responsibilities
  • Instill a Lean mindset and culture into the organization through classroom and hands-on training
  • Define and apply the principles of Lean through the organization, including Lean office
  • Drive efficiency improvement through both Lean and Automation activities
  • Lead all Kaizen events
  • Identify new opportunities in the automation of manufacturing processes
  • Create automation platform for test
  • Develop automation guidelines by applying generic, standardization, modular concept to equipment and testers
  • Develop detailed DFM, DF for Assembly, DF for Automation, DF Six Sigma approaches and guidelines
  • Provide guideline and recommendation during NPI stage to ensure the process has been lean and automated out
  • Carry out Gemba walk and deploy Lean Daily Management onto the shop floor

 

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification
  • More than 10 years’ hands-on experience in deploying lean tools
  • Professional project management training with PMP training qualification preferable
  • Problem solving, innovative, creative, think-out-of-the-box skillset communication
  • Work well under pressure, adaptable and flexible to ever changing requirements
  • Good command of both spoken and written in English and Chinese, including Putonghua
