This talented group of engineers, designers and executives is responsible for spearheading the expansion of Computime’s electronic design and manufacturing services around the world.

Executive Directors


The co-founder of Computime Group Ltd, Mr. Auyang has more than four decades of experience in manufacturing operations, product management and development in the electronics industry. When he founded the business in 1974, his vision was to create a first-class technology company and pioneer new markets.

He currently acts as an advisor to our Chief Executive Officer, providing guidance on management issues. As the director and shareholder of Solar Power Group Limited – the controlling shareholder of the Company – Mr. Auyang serves as the Executive Director and Chairman of the Board. He also serves on several committees, including the executive, nomination and remuneration committees.

Before starting Computime, Mr. Auyang studied structural engineering at South China Institute of Technology (now known as the South China University of Technology), followed by an engineering position at the Ministry of Railways of the People’s Republic of China and several years in management with Chiaphua Group and International Containers Limited.


A thought leader and MIT graduate, Dr. Owyang joined Computime in April 2010, bringing with him over 40 years of experience in the electronics and semiconductor industries. He currently serves as an Executive Director, the Chief Executive Officer and member of the executive committee of the Company.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Science in Physics and a doctorate of philosophy in the field of Materials Science from MIT, Dr. Owyang began his career at General Electric (US), where he held various technical and management positions. Dr. Owyang later joined Siliconix Inc., a leading Silicon Valley semiconductor company in California, where he led R&D and Operations teams before serving as the CEO for 12 years.

Dr. Owyang is a recognized leader in the Power Metal-oxide Semiconductor Field-effect Transistor Industry, with over 20 published technical papers and 25 patents under his belt. He has also received several awards, including Industry IR100 Award in 1979 and 1983; and the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award by Enterprise Asia in 2015. Dr. Owyang has a proven track record in growing and sustaining revenue and profitability of publicly traded multinational companies.

Dr. Owyang serves as a director of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited, a company listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market.

Senior Management

Jimmy POON Chi Man

Bringing with him over 30 years’ extensive international experience in engineering, manufacturing and quality, Mr. Poon joined Computime in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Poon showed his earliest stints in the States with leadership role on process and product development as well as programs and operations. On relocating back to Hong Kong, he became the Vice President of Operations for Kalex, a PCB manufacturer. Subsequently, he spent 13 years with Multek/Flextronics in charge of operations for multiple factories in the Zhuhai area of China, as well as running the entire Quality program for Multek globally. He was the Chairman of Flextronics’s Six Sigma Council leading this business excellence initiative globally. Mr. Poon had also assumed Chief Operating Officer for TTM Technologies and Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Universal Electronics Inc. Prior to joining Computime, he was the Vice President of Asia Operations and Global Quality for Isola Group, a global leader of copper-clad laminates and dielectric prepregs.

Mr. Poon earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, USA, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University of New York, USA, and an MBA from Hofstra University, USA.

George POON Yiu Ming

Mr. Poon joined the Company in 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 20 years of corporate finance, commercial and strategic development experience through his CFO and management positions held in leading conglomerates and multinational listed companies across retail, trading, manufacturing, banking and the technology sectors.

Mr. Poon is a member of CPA Australia. He holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from the University of Hong Kong and a Master degree in Business Administration from Monash University.

Wai Leung HA

Dr. Ha is the Executive Vice President of Technologies of the Group and President of Cincinnati Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of the Group. Dr. Ha joined the company 18 years ago and has been influential in expanding new business units.

A true visionary, Dr. Ha oversees our R&D road map, having developed Computime’s first R&D centers in Shenzhen and Cincinnati. In the process, he has also patented a wide range of intellectual property in smart control and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) fields. With his leadership, the company has established a strong technology foundation in the emerging Internet of Thing (IoT) market.

Dr. Ha is a chartered engineer and member of the Institute of Measurement and Control, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and senior member the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He has over 30 years of working experience in engineering, research and development.

He’s also an exceptional scholar, having earned a master’s degree in Electronic Systems Design from City University of Hong Kong, a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Hong Kong, as well as an Engineering Doctorate in Engineering Management from City University of Hong Kong.

Michael CHU Chun Kit

Mr. CHU joined the Group in 2018, and is the Vice President – Engineering. He has over 30 years of experience in consumer products segment, 20 years of which in mobile and telecommunication industry. He has extensive experience in end-to-end ecosystems, from infrastructure business model to content and service solutions. Mr. CHU gained valuable experience at Motorola where he had worked for 10 years in key roles from semiconductors sector to mobile solutions sector. As the director of Engineering at Motorola, one of his major achievements was to create the Taichi family of smart phones and J2ME OTA eco-system in the 2000s. Subsequent to his career in Motorola, Mr. CHU successfully took key positions at companies such as E28, Elite Holdings, ConvenientPower and WiTricity, and build an extensive track record in wireless charging for consumer and automotive segments. Mr. CHU holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, majoring in Microelectronics & Microprocessor from University of Newcastle, the United Kingdom, in 1986.

Jimmy HO Pak Tong

Equipped with 25 years of HR experience, Mr. Ho is Vice President of Global Human Resources. He joined the company in 2014, following senior positions as Regional and Global Head of Human Resources at sizable multinational and local companies, including WL Gore & Associates, Novo Nordisk, ASML, Spotless Group and Lee Kum Kee.

Responsible for attracting new recruits and fostering leadership among the team, Mr. Ho has cultivated a performance-driven culture that aims to attract and retain talent. He has also spearheaded internship programs with leading engineering institutions such as MIT.

Mr. Ho graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the College of Dublin, National University of Ireland.

Raymond LEUNG Chi Ming

Mr. Leung joined Computime as Vice President – Manufacturing in 2018. He has over 30 years’ experience in EMS and manufacturing industry, over 18 years of which was gained from Hayco Manufacturing and over 8 years in General Electronics. In Hayco, he increased the factory sites from one to three, managed a workforce of 4,500 across production, quality assurance, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, planning, material management, factory administration and human resources. Being a Certified Lean Manager from Hong Kong Productivity Council and holding the qualification of 6-Sigma Green Belt from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, he was valuable in business process re-engineering and systems implementation to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions.

Mr. Leung holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Marketing Management from Macquarie University as well as a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from University of Warwick.

Alexander LIEW Yoon Ching

Mr. Liew is currently our Vice President – Global Procurement, and he joined Computime in 2018. He has over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, sourcing, materials management, logistics, and purchasing. His extensive experience has spanned some of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world, including Solectron and Flextronics. Prior to joining Computime, Mr. Liew served as the Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain for Universal Electronics in Asia, where he was in charge of more than US$300 million in annual spend. He is experienced in handling various customer base, including Dell, Intel, Nortel, Cisco, Sun Micro, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, Applied Materials, Seagate, Maxtor, Connors, and many more others.

David MAK Wing Kwong

Mr. MAK joined the Group in 2018, and is the Vice President – Connected Solutions. He has over 30 years of working experience in developing/manufacturing and distribution of computer software and hardware, internet content development and electronic learning products. He assumes full responsibilities for the ODM, HVAC and IoT new products and business development. Mr. MAK worked for VTech Group for over 12 years where he was the managing director in VTech Computers Systems Limited, School Supervisor in VTech School of IT and an executive director of VTech eLearning Holdings Limited. He also served as the president of the IDT Electronic Products division and COO of Lung Cheong Group. Mr. MAK holds a Master degree in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, the United Kingdom.


The Vice President of Operations Finance, Mr. Nguyen joined the Company in 2011. He has more than 35 years of experience in the electronics industry, serving in various financial management roles at international companies listed on US stock exchanges.

Mr. Nguyen is a fellow of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from the University of New Orleans, in the US, with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Santa Clara, US.

Danny YICK Ka Lei

Mr. Yick joined Computime in 2018 as the Vice President of Contract Manufacturing Service Business. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of consumer electronics. Before joining Computime, he was the Managing Director of Alco International Limited. He held senior management positions with Philips Consumer Lifestyle, TCL Multimedia Limited, and Binatone Group. Danny holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester and a MBA from University of Warwick. He also serves as a member of Electronics/Electrical Appliances Industries Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Trade Development Council in years 2017 to 2019.
